Sea Legs Marine Group Ltd. ("Sea Legs", "we", "us") is based in Nassau, The Bahamas. This page explains what we collect when you use sealegsmarine.com, why, and what you can ask us to do.
What we collect
When you make a request we collect the details you type in: your name, phone number, email address, the service you want, and the information about your vessel, equipment, location and timing. If you add photos, videos or files, we keep those too. We also keep the messages, quotes, invoices, payments and signatures that belong to your job.
If you choose to complete our feedback form, we keep your ratings and comments, and your name and contact details only if you give them. We use this only to improve the website and our service, and to reply if you asked us to.
We do not ask for card numbers on this website. We do not use advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, give you a quote and carry out the work.
- To send you updates about your request, such as status changes, quotes and invoices.
- To keep records of work done, payments received and agreements signed.
- To protect the site from misuse and spam.
How we contact you
We contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp, using the details you gave us. If you chose WhatsApp or gave us a WhatsApp number, we may send you messages about your request through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. These are service messages about your own request. We do not send unrelated promotions. If a WhatsApp message cannot be delivered, we may email you the same information instead. Tell us at any time if you would rather not be contacted by a given method.
Who can see your information
Only Sea Legs staff who need it to handle your request can see it. We use service providers to run the website and to send messages: web hosting (Netlify), our database and file storage (Supabase), email delivery, and WhatsApp (Meta). They process your information for us and only for these purposes. For some services we may need to pass your request to a partner who carries out the work, and we will only share what the partner needs to do it. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep request records for as long as we need them to deliver the service, handle questions and meet our record-keeping duties for quotes, invoices and payments. After that we delete or anonymise them.
Security
Your tracking link is private to you, so please do not share it. Staff sign in with their own accounts and see only what their role allows. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, so tell us straight away if you think your link or information has been exposed.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop messaging you. Some records, such as invoices and payments, we may need to keep. To make a request, email info@sealegsmarine.com or call 242-816-7325, and include your request reference (it looks like SL-XXXXXX) so we can find your information.
Data deletion
To have your information deleted, email info@sealegsmarine.com with the subject "Delete my data" and your name and request reference. We will confirm by reply once it is done.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
